God Gave Him A Wolf's Heart by sun is poison is probably one of (if not) my favourite albums in the world, but there are no physical copies of it in existence. I designed this version to imagine what a CD case for the album would look like. This is not an official design.

Development

One issue I ran into was the actual visuals on the case: did I want to keep the original cover image or did I want to make my own? I decided to "hide" the original image in several parts of the design, see if you can spot it!
I felt the imagery should be literal, so I added an anatomical heart and a wolf into the design. I also wanted an inversion effect, sort of like an x-ray. This way it could be like an "x-ray" into "his" wolf heart.

final touches

To add that final flair, I added in the lyrics of each song onto each portion of the design. I used a font called "Redacted Script" to achieve the effect of small cursive.
Overall, I'm pretty proud!

Inner poster that comes with the jewel case. This would be on the flip side of the cover itself, which would be folded and act as the cover.
